"Look at that!"
"It's a scooter, dumby."
"No, it's Tom Selleck on a scooter!!"

"Tom Selleck"! Har har.
Hey Stig just saw on the lunchtime weather forecast that they're hitting 16c (61F) in northern Scotland today. In mid-November. Strange times. Enjoyed a very mild ride this morning, it's great. Not so great were the wet leaves all over my Doc's driveway. As I gave it a handful leaving whilst banked over, the rear end stepped out least a foot. Sure gave me a good cardio workout! (And 5 points for the scrambles dab...)

Yeah....wet riding requires full attention...or at least a passing thought :) to what's under the tires. Even a 150* has a burst of throttle at low throttle settings. Which can get you into trouble. (so, I never mess with Dr P's looking for "more acceleration!" off the line) *Asia builds 50's to "spurt" away from stop lights, as well.
There are so many wide painted lines and arrows going through the city out to my rural coffee village.
I know where the worst ones are, and make certain I don't have to slow & turn across them when being followed closely by cars at speed! I alter my route on those days. Doesn't help that I'm doing it in the dark :)
Riding through tunnels of trees ....I am on guard. Most of my route is through areas of broad fields....just need to watch for deer, there.....a lot of Selleck groupies out there.

“Full attention“?…. Couldn’t agree more. Fortunately this wasn't a slick of leaves, just a small patch which I guess must’ve registered subliminally? Still started my brief ride with more drama than I needed.
We’re still under the influence of a benign jet stream bringing us warm and dry, if overcast, weather so I’m making the most of it. Only needed the heated grips once this season so far. The plus side to Climate Change? (Brace for incoming.)

We have a few leaves on the roads here as well. This was on Saturday.
