I have four bikes and I enjoy riding all of them but there is one that more than any of the others calls my name from the garage and begs to go for a ride. Yesterday that happened around 5 so I went for a ride.
I thought the reflections of the trees in the lake was cool so I stopped for a pic.

I was just planning a short loop but sunset wasn't that far off so I headed over to one of the places nearby that offers a good view of the sunset. Shortly before getting there, on a four lane road running by the airport, there were a bunch of cars on the sides of the road and a bunch of people hanging out in the road. I have no idea why they were there. It reminded me of a Zombie Apocalypse. I wish I had thought to take a pic. but right past the Zombies was my turnoff.
There were a few clouds in the sky so I was hoping for an interesting sunset.

Looking away from the sun. Both sides of the road are farmland and its harvest time so there has been a lot of farm equipment in the fields.

Then it was time to head for home and get ready for the Trick or treaters.

@klav, had a beautiful/touching Halloween experience yesterday too.
Around 5:00 p.m. my gatebell rang and I saw a group of kids escorted by adults standing outside.
I guessed beeing Halloween kids to tell "Trick or Treat". So I went outside and saw the smallest one, a girl maybe 3 yrs old, doing this "Witch and Zombie" grimasses to me. To play along I predended to be afraid and went hesitately towards them.
The littleone told me in a low voice,
" you need not to be afraid, it's make-up only, my mum did this".
This was so touching to me, I nearly was in tears. It reminded me so much of many many years ago, when our kids were "Halloween-kids" and were out for Trick 'n Treat.

:)
When I lived in a big city I used to keep a pack near the door - when teens came I'd give them each a Marlboro.
