75% chance of rain at 5:45AM tomorrow for my sunrise coffee ride. 51°F predicted. Sunrise at @7:50AM.
I can keep hands warm, or dry - hard to do both.
Electric gloves don't like wet. Spray waterproofing on leather seems to be a joke.
My cold weather riding gear is also pretty waterproof - esp. that Oxford Hi-Viz rain over-jacket.
At least I'm on some decent tires (newish Angels)
It's better than ice or snow!

Just bought some Triumph Gore-tex lined leather gloves on sale. Reckoned coupled with the heated grips they might well do the job. Have yet to road test them, but I’ll let you know.
Edit: Now worn in the dry for one trip and early thinking is that they're going to be good. Just need the leather to give a little for best comfort fit.

Try Aerostich overmitts for dry hands. They work over just about anything.
