Title: My Kymco manual calls for .0001 MM Valve Clearence.
Post by: Togger on October 14, 2021, 10:45:45 PM
That seems to be a very low margin. A lot of scooters call for more, up to .ooo4. Anyone know about this, because I've been readjusting my valves and can't get the scooter running, though it will rumble for maybe a second, which could mean I'm getting closer.

I think you mean 0.1mm, or .004 inches. Personally, I wouldn't go smaller.

Some stuff is fun to do: the metal side of an aluminum beer or pop can is .004" thick!  Pour yourself a beer and cut up the can to adjust your valves!  It's almost a no-brainer!
