Title: Someone dropped the ball.
Post by: Kansas kymco on October 14, 2021, 07:56:21 PM
I bought a 200S this summer that needed a few parts. One of the things I needed was a new rear fender.  All the other parts came in but the rear fender so the dealer called Kymco USA for a update.  Kymco USA said it was never ordered but they had one in stock.  Went to dealer and picked it up today.

Stopped at Wallyworld and got a flu  and shingles vaccinations on the way to the dealer.

No, I was on the way to the way to the dealer and went by the local Wallyworld so stopped in and took care of it before the flu season starts.

The new shingles is as 2 part shot, yes?
Do get them both.
Shingles was a major cause in my older brother's sudden death 3 Xmases ago. A heart attack while being treated in hospital for Shingles.

they've lowered the age where you're allowed to get the shingles vaccine to 50..shingles is horrible...if you're 50+ get the vaccine!

Glad you have your fender, Kansas Kymco..looking forward to seeing and hearing about your S200 when it is finished!

Reading this has just reminded me that I'm overdue my shingles vaccination! Thanks for the PSA!

I had a rough night. My arm was very sore and I was chilling and wrapped up in a blanket.  This morning I feel better and my arm is not as sore. They recommend the second shot anywhere between 2 and 6 months later.

Crossbolt I remember (vaguely) some of those parties at the lake. Didn't want to drive so slept in the bed of my ElCamino SS. I used the tonneau cover for a blanket.  Even at a young age didn't want to risk a DUI.

Well I had mine this morning KK and already (4+ hours later) I know I've had it with a muscular ache in the arm.  Hoping to be spared the full chills experience.  Interestingly ours in the UK is a live, one shot only, vaccine.  Worryingly the nurse warned me of the slight risk of excreting live virus for a day or two afterwards so to be thorough in hand hygiene after toilet trips!

Daughter and I got our flu shot at the grocer's (Krogers)...we agreed that it would be 2 days before we'd be up to pitching for Boston.....
(I thought he gave it to me like that because he didn't like my Red Sox hat - but my daughter's cute, and he did the same to her)
"0" after-effects....other than sore shoulder.
