Title: Custom silicone radiator hose kit DT350
Post by: Dragonh on September 18, 2021, 02:49:50 PM
Hi all, Got bored so I installed custom made silicone radiator hose kit(4 pcs) for my DT350. I also installed a silicone intake hose at the same time(bigger with better air flow) works well with the 40mm TB. Next mod are some 3 color LED headlight bulbs.

The hoses are custom made here in Taiwan.. Brand. Professional.... Not cheap thou.. You Can see the name on that intake hose too.

I tell you what I'd like to see all scooters have - even small to mid-weights : "Braided" brake lines~! Nothing vanity about them.
Our LIKE200i's have braided brake lines and the feed-back at the brake levers is very very positive! The brakes feel very powerful with even modest pressure on the levers.
Wish my Liberty had braided lines.

@Stig, as far as I saw and know our
Grand Dinks/Vista models do have braided brake hoses. At least the one (150- 300ccm)  here in Italy.

@Dragonh, how did you fix this hose at your airfilter box? Hot glue or silicone? 'Cause silicone hoses usually don't take any glue.

It's a gel like paste which I put just to stiffen that part up as the silicone hose is softer than the oem intake tube which has grooves on it unlike the silicone intake tube.. Basically I sealed it there for extra protection.. Great mod.. Can really feel to kick with this intake tube.
