Hello everyone,
has anybody here ever tried to remove the front fairings of an X-Town 300?
I need to remove them in order to install an electronic alarm which must be connected to the ignition key wiring and to the turn indicators, but on the net I've found only one video on YouTube which is quite confusing.
Thanks.
Federico

Sorry Federico, I haven’t... not yet!
But welcome to the Forum, maybe someone else on here has.

That's what shop manuals are for.

At $50 for the manual, let's hope someone on here can help!

I've got the shop manual, but it's not that clear....

I'm going to have the same problem. I just got a 2021 X-Town 300 and hate the stock headlights . I want to go to LEDS but getting to them looks like a pain. I saw a very abbreviated video on you tube about removing the fairing, but it wasn't real informative. I got into the plastic on both my People 150, and then my 2012 GTI 300. Take your time and go slow.

… and document it with pics or a video for the wider benefit!

Just found a repair manual online. It's from Repair Manual.com, and cost me $40 including shipping. I'll let you know how detailed it is when I get it.

I just received my manual. It is much better than the dealers shop manual I had for my GTI300. I'm going to change my headlights to LEDS over the winter. This manual covers it pretty well (with pictures). I think this manual is a good investment for you DIY's like myself!
