Rolling out these led street lamps near me too, apparently you can get the cool white or warm white versions. Bet I know which we’ll end up with!

We have both led and sodium street lights. At one time McPherson had the nickname ( the light capital). The town has always had it's own power plants . Downtown use to have 3 large fluorescent lights on each pole, it was like daylight downtown. The went to one fluorescent per pole during the energy crisis of 72 before replacing them. The police pull people over all the time for no lights on at night because you can't tell if they are on or not. No chance seeing the stars from our city.
In my neighborhood there are 4 street lights at each cornor with another mid block. All are the sodium yellow tint lights.
Where my place in Ely is at it's pitch black at night and you can see the stars vividly.
