For years, with my scooter, I've been able to watch a town and a village as it wakes up, in all kinds of weather.
Street vendors setting up, stores prepping out front, some few aimlessly walking - unable or unwilling to stay in bed.
Often, my ride is over for the day by the time the world is fully in gear😊

Many year's ago, make that many decades ago when I had a paper route I would be done with my route before anyone woke up. I received my papers at 4 am and if I hurried at could go back to bed before having to go to school. Later in life when I worked shift work I would watch many spectacular sunrises from the control room. I remember thinking about the vivid colors on the horizon.

Something else we have in common KK, I had a paper round too. Bit more of a sociable hour for me though, clocked on at 5am!

Haha..my paper route was when I was 12 and 13. Started at 5:30 AM with the house with the old guy in his robe who would yell at me for being late! A buddy of mine had a paper route, too, and we'd meet at Donutland for donuts and soda on Saturday mornings around 6:30 AM..good times..
