Title: Not that important but just thought I'd share
Post by: aschrauth on June 24, 2021, 11:02:44 PM
So I'm riding home from work today at about 45km when something catches my eye on the side of the road. Laying on the side of the roadway was a German style motorcycle helmet that must have fallen off of someone's bike. On the date code it states it was manufactured last month. Looked over it and it doesn't have any major damage, just a few scuffs where it hit the road. Pretty cool, defiantly the find of the week. What's one thing you have found on the road while on your scooter?

Tires found one nail, one screw.
I've found an abundant number of great looking mornings...

PS: you'll need to drill a hole in that pot or your geraniums might get root rot.
Fortunately - that fellow saved his life by losing that thing.

My thoughts exactly Stig.  "Made in China"...  err no thanks.

Neighbor use to work for the hwy dept, he has found wallets,  cell phones, tablets, atv seats,  spare tires by the truck load, generator, ladders, tools and a variety of other things.

The hwy dept would hold things 2 weeks before disposing the things.

Most amazing thing we (the wife & me) ever found while out on my old Daytona 955i was an owl chick which had (presumably) fallen from it's nest.  Long story short, we got it home with the help of a friend with a car + cardboard box and reared it on day old chicks and mice until it could fly.  First few flights it returned to our house to feed and then eventually it flew off and didn't come back; we like to think because it had answered the call of the wild.
