Who knew? I didn't!
Pup and I were on the dam at 5:54AM today when I took this cell phone video. Here's the screen shot.
The moon was very yellow, low and very big! on the horizon.
Then the left side began the disappear!....then it sank below the trees. Doesn't look it here - but the moon was very yellow then began going dark pink!
Thought to myself - "that's weird - must be a cloud out there which I can't see?"
I get home and find out .......it was an eclipse!

I got up early to see it but clouds obscured my view. Last night's weather said what time it would happen.
