I routinely check Craigslist for bargin scooters. In Huntsville Alabama a dealer had a used 2009 SYM 200cc scooter with 63 miles on it. The lowest mile scooter I have purchased was a 2014 Xicting 500 with 328 miles on it. It was kept in a heated and A/C garage and looked like it just came off the dealers showroom floor.

I routinely see listings on Facebook Marketplace for Honda PCX 150s with low mileage. It's not unusual to see them five or six years old with 600-1,000 miles. And you can probably pick one up in that range for $2,500 if you haggle a bit. Honestly, the value of a low-mileage, used scooter is hard to beat.

2017 Like 200i over on F/B in the Kymco riders group for $950 and 128 miles on the clock.

Huh.
Great bike with the usual caveats for something that old wit that few miles with special note to the OEM coolant being absolute junk out of the box. I'd recommend a flush and fill to get the scale out even at those miles.
I'd probably check it out myself if it weren't across the country.

After a few years I have the coolant and brake fluid flushed on all my scooters. My local dealer needs shop work of a winter so I oblige him.

Once I stopped at a used car dealer who was displaying a nice red People (200 or 250S, I forget which)
It was maybe 2 years old. Had 8 miles on the odo!
He wanted $2999.00
Still wanted $2999.00 the following summer, when I phoned.
Had a big crack in the leg shield....which probably could have been glued just fine.
I found the shape a bit 'chunky' for my taste. color was great.
Third time I called he said it went back to auction.
Who gets repo'd after 8 miles? Heck, he barely made it home!

What's amusing is when I was young and not a lot of cash I bought new bikes. Now that I have the funds to easily purchase new I find to good of deals on like new machines with low miles.
The exception to this is UTV'S, every used machine I've seen is either ragged out or mega miles/hours. The price of used UTV'S is to close to new.
