..i have a buddy in dire need of a 49.5cc scooter..
..he will have a 15 mile commute..one way..and i scolded him for even considering buying a VIP or Gator...
..he has no more than $800.00 to spend...
..anybody know of a good KYMCO in the North Carolina area??

That's 'cause you gotta do the mash up thing. It filters and sorts out all the junk for you. You only see the scoots. And only the brands you want to see. And only the area(s) you want to see. I love that jaxed thing!

I'm going to claim ignorance here - does the a/c mean air cooled?
Do they have a liquid cooled model? ???

...the S9 air cooled engine, is basically the same as the ppl 50...with different intakes....
..the S9 liquid cooled engine is another animal...
..cooler engines will generate more horsepower, and live much longer...
..liquid cooled engines run MUCH cooler than air-cooled....
..explains why i was so stoked when i thot the ppl i was getting last week was a liquid-cooled people S50...."same engine" as the S9 LC...
..which it wasnt...

yeah, i am like 6'1-1/2",230lbs. with 21 earrings(when i wear em all),7tats. :D :D 8) i can look a bit ODD on a zx....but the scoot looks good tho.. :D

..i rode it today, and it's pretty peppy!!
..has 4.5 hp and a sweet powerband...
..it does not have the torque and quickness of a people, but it will hold it's own and topped out at 50 mph indicated...
..i read some good reviews about the m50 and found no bad ones that were of a drivetrain issue...
..the plastics are a LOT thinner than kymco, but the frame looked beefy enough...
..he needed a decent scoot in a bad way...getting to work and back way...
..he simply liked the looks of the m50 more than two kymcos i put him on...ssso...
..it's in showroom condition...
..so, we'll see how it holds up, i reckon...

Lots of nice looking scoots out there - but if they're not going to hold up then looks aren't going to help much...

If small things go wrong he could always try to find higher quality brands of replacement parts for it. I reckon he can't do much about the plastics, but if the frame and engine are good he should be alright. Unless he's Evel Knievel...

You'll find out about the quality of the frame pretty darn quick I suspect.

Hey, while I was sittin' at the bus stop today waitin' to go and get my tools, I saw a dude pass by on a blue Vespa. He looked to be a bit taller than me and was sittin' kinda bent over. I feel for y'all that are really tall. Probably does kinda feel like yer ridin' a kid's tricycle or something.

Unless you're on a sport bike and then you're pitched forward in a position where the truck driver behind you can give you a prostate exam...

..3000 actual kms..it's pristine, and was de-restricted and tuned by Areomyst...
..i rode it a cpl times, and it runs sweeeet....
..excellent tuning!!
