Title: Might owe my Kymco an apology......

I was in for my septennial visit to the eye doctor today.
After examining me at length:
"What are your hobbies?"
"Scooter riding."
"Do you ever ride at night?"
"Yes."

"Do you ever ride in the rain."
"Yes."

"But...you don't ever ride in the rain at night, do you?"
"Well.....Why do you ask??"

"Because you have cataracts in both eyes."

This might explain my growing frustration with my LIKE200i's headlight.

So, I was fitted with a new pair of glasses - and said, "see you next year, right Doc?"
"No, Tom, ha ha, we'll be seeing each other more often than that!"

I had developing cataracts in both eyes so I had them fixed surgically with new lenses. 7 years later they are still good. ;)

My wife had that done and with marvelous results. Check out your surgeon THOROUGHLY BEFORE you turn him loose! They got duds like dealer shops have dud techs!

New lenses are like new eyes.  Totally 100% new.  Takes about 30 minutes, and you're good to ride again.

Get it done---really works---I am now 20/20, now no nite vision problems----they even offer option--lens that allows reading and distance vision....I  should have done that.

Had the cataract surgery 3 years ago. Both eyes came out PERFECT!
After a lifetime of glasses/contacts and very nearsightedness, I now only need glasses for reading. Much like anyone else my age (66).  It's an easy 30 minute out-patient procedure for each eye. Painless.
Like my doc said, there's  no harm in putting off the procedure but you'll  know when it's  time!

And.... reading glasses are only $1.00 at the local Dollar Tree!
