Title: Glad I didn't* take the LIKE in the rain today after all....

Because I needed this when a big dog suddenly trotted in front of my Liberty150i this morning, in the rain.

This was the very first time I used every bit of that ABS braking - and did manage to stay out of this big guy's ribs!
Pouring rain, riding about 33MPH (indicated) - full daylight coming home - I'd just crested a hill - he never saw me until the last moment. Neither did I.
After I gathered myself - - I glanced over and saw his owner way across her front yard with her hands over her mouth.

Thank you Lord! I feel bad enough if I wing a squirrel. He was a pretty dog, golden lab, I think.

*Didn't take the LIKE because I remembered I hadn't yet corrected the PSI in the front tire to 26 from the 29lbs I mistakenly put in last week.
Even with the Michelins - I'm pretty sure I would have collected that dog on that wet road.

Daughter keeps telling me to stop working my Angels so hard. That dog needs to be more considerate of his, too.

Glad all beasts -- two-legged and four-legged -- were unharmed in the telling of this story!

Reading that last line and a half. I love the way you craft a phrase Tom. Keep on wordsmithing, it’s appreciated.
