Title: NSR: Bird Houses

The pup's turn to be taken out at sunrise today.
She was fascinated by these birds warming themselves in the sunrise after a 36°F night.

There are about 10 of the individual houses on poles in this immediate area....and a couple of these big ol' condos :)
Each appeared to be occupied, with the small ones having 2 birds on/in each.

Nice to see Tom. My young Husky put a flock of roosting wood pigeon to flight last night on her walk which I thought was a shame.

It’s also interesting to watch her snow fox hunting technique as we walk alongside hedgerows. One bound has netted her prey on a few occasions now.  In one notable instance a full grown brown rat! I let her despatch that one before I freed it from her jaws.

Always finding teaching moments for the pup.
Last night I stuck my head out the bathroom door and asked her to "fetch me some clean underwear."
After a delay, I asked my daughter, "What's she doing?"
Daughter said, "she's googling 'underwear', Padre."

Sounds like daughter inherited the humour gene from you then!
