After a long winter search, I ordered new tires for my 450i, tires were no different than toilet paper as everyone was sold out of the tires I wanted, so after about 3 plus weeks, wally world sent me a message that they were availiable. From my research I wanted the Sunf AO33 all terrain tires. All the reviews I read ( and there were hundreds if not thousands) that gave the tire 5 star rating. I went with the 25" rather than going to the 26" as originally planned, one reason was cost, the 26" were another 100 plus per set and the tires are known to be actual size or even slightly larger. When I had them mounted, the are a true 25" plus tire! These are rated at 6 ply with an extremely stiff side wall, bias ply type tire and from the reviews almost puncture proof. Those few that experienced a flat stated the sidewall was stiff enough to get their machine back to civilization for repair with no additional damage to tire or rim, as the mfgr had stated in the advertising. The tires are similiar to Maxxis Big Horn in tread design with lugs wrapping around the sides of the tire. These are one stiff tire but ride really well, especially on pavement. You dont feel the thump- thump like you do on mud tires. So far very pleased with these tires, nice aggressive tread but spaced to give a decent ride on pavement. Best part of the Sunf lineup of tires is the price, thru walley world the full set was 320 delivered to my front door! Hard to believe the quality of tire for this price. Also they are non directional so easy to swap from side to side for more even wear and less confusing when mounting. Will report later on long term wear, but from the reviews, I am quite confident.
I also picked upvsome used Yamaha wheels that fit my machine, the original tires have enough tread left for use around my property and I do a lot of pavement riding, so why wear out the new treads, with all tires mounted on there own wheels it will be easy enough to get the last miles from the originals and have some nice new deep treads ready for the trails.

You should look up these tires on the internet, you will get far better pictures and information than I can post on here. These have been ranked best tire value for the past year, they sell out quickly. SunF model AO33, there are numerous other models as well but these are what come with a 5 star rating

I need tires. I'm gonna buy a set of wheeis on ebay, for old Datsun/Nissan 240Z. 110x4, several sets available, in 14 or 15 in, then get 235/60 all terrain truck tires, I put too many pavement miles on

Check the wheel offset to be sure the wheels and tires wont rub. The used wheels I bought from a yamaha fit but need a wheel spacer on front wheel to keep tires from rubbing steering arm. If the wheels offset to far out your fine but to far in you end up with a rub. Let us know how those rims work out.

As near as I can find I believe they are a 3-3 on front and a 3.5 - 4 on the rear, supposedly a 5-2 are supposed to fit, the Yamaha wheels I bought outset the rear tires about 1.5 - 2" wider per side, but the front wheels space the tires about 2" closer to the inside, thus the need for wheel spacers. When I get out to the barn I can get some measurements.

3½-4 I think is the same as +13mm in metric , I've been told original Datsun 240Z wheels fit our UTV perfectly

13mm or ½" from center same as 3½-4
I think I will be getting Yokohama Geolanders they come in a size equivalent to 27-8.5, but I would prefer to find something only 26" tall, because most trucks & suvs run 16"+ these days, it's getting harder to find 15"ers There are plenty of all seasons that are 25-26" tall, but I'm looking for an all terrain tire

What is tallest tire I should be looking at, I can get all season tires in 25-26" heights, but AT tires are gonna be 28"±

I think you should not go larger than a 26" diameter tire as the transmission is geared for a 25" tire. Afraid you will lose you low end grunt if you go larger. I thought about a 26" tire, but I ride in loose sand sometimes, and with 2 people even smaller guys like me it takes a lot of grunt to get going, dont want to loose that!! My opinion anyway....

I've decided to go with a 215/65-15, all the tire conversion charts put them at 26.0 tall, and 8.5 wide, looks like I can get into something for $70± ea.

I think that you will be better off staying with the 26" dia tires. Hate to see a loss of low end power by going bigger. Are these an on road aggressive tire or a smoother tread road pattern?

All season radials, can't find a 15" All Terrain tread that is less than 27.7" tall (215/75-15)
these are for road travel primarily, I will have a set of 12" regular ATV tires as well, in stock size

gonna have to get a special socket for these wheels, my ½" drive impact socket won't fit, luckily, my 3/8 drive 17mm fit inside the wheel recess... barely

tires are working out well, did a little "logging" today, just pulled a twitch of a half dozen saplings that were 6" dia (dbh) and 40-50 ft long, didn't even need 4wd, no mud, but plenty of leaves & pine needles and a stretch of 15% uphill

up till today, I've not really taken er out on the road with the new tires,
no sidewall roll like off road tires, sticks like glue, like driving a tall go-cart, still have 35psi in em
I drove to the dealer with it about 8 miles, mostly paved, a little bouncy on the dirt section,
I will be without for a while, I hope it ain't all summer like last year, I know there is noise in the front differential when I back up in 4wd , and my brakes lost their fluid, and I'm missing a ton of body screws, it's held together with gorilla tape at the moment

hauled my buggy to Vermont over Labor Day weekend, my brother and his friends have several miles of well maintained trails, even with my "car" tires, only had to use 4wd once for a short steeeeep rocky side trail incline. many of his friends are actually thinking of going to street tires, their trails are so well maintained, any vehicle with 6" clearance will work, Already got as many miles as I have got from a set of offroad tires, and they still look new
