probably could have done this a month ago, but ya never know, I've seen a foot of snow as late as May 25
take the plow off, switch wheels, and get my chains off(https://i.imgur.com/NnwRlNil.jpg)

With all this nice weather I have been considering the same thing. Normally wait until after may first, but damn it has been so nice.  I remember well getting 4in of snow on may 4 many years back.  Oh well, mother nature is calling my name, will she fool me again?
