Congratulations!

thank you everyone, hoping for a meltdown in upstate NY soon. this time of year can go either way. right now all the snowmobiles are playing.
-
You have extra pair of blinkers in front. Why do they want that? Very nice scooter, sir.
-
Congrats on the new ride!

@scooter freak,

You never noticed those before Ruffus?!
All USA Like200i and Like50 have those....for years.
Euro indicators do not meet USA position specs. Not far enough apart, or domething.....so the turn pods on many Kymcos. Most don't like them, while I like them very much. Very visible to drivers!

just getting back to you about the build date, it's exactly where you said it was. build date of September 2019. tires have a date code of 3019 also. next I need to find out if those chrome rails are still available. oh yeah, going to remove those decals, not liking them on the sides

If you haven't already visited - here is a review which helped me decide to buy 2012 LIKE200i in the spring of 2013.

I've no idea what year the LIKE200i was brought to the USA - but their review was written in August of 2010!
I think that it is amazing that this scooter has remained unchanged from at least 2010 to your 2019 (maybe the final year of production?) Color and trim changes - but all else is unchanged as far as I know!
Much of the world got the 125cc version I think (S. America, Philippines, Europe)
Many of us owners consider it to be bullet proof.

I've got your back, Stig: https://www.motorscooterguide.net/kymco-like-50-150i-200i/ (https://www.motorscooterguide.net/kymco-like-50-150i-200i/)

About the blinkers. When they are very near the main headlight, they are not easy visible, because the mainlight reflects the bright light when human eye does not reconize the smaller blinking light very near. Some drives with high beam light that makes the situation even worse when blinking.
That is why the blinkers are made away from head drive light, horizontally and vertically, that is understood for example in Europe.
Some this and some that, safe rides everyone.

Very nice! You won't be disappointed!

Thanks cool63 - They got most of their info correct.
The LIKE 50 came in 2009.
But they are in error about the 200i - it did not come in 2011 - because justgottascoot had one to test in MN in August of 2010.
And the LX version never came with a brown seat - only the cream colored non-LX LIKE came with a brown seat.
I'm going to see if I can get the introductory date for the first gen. LIKE, and world-wide as well.
