just got the call on Friday, the like 200i I ordered on Dec. 8th is here! Will post pictures as soon as it's in my driveway. long wait but what the heck, It's winter here in upstate NY anyway

Well there you go!
Would be very interested to know the actual assembly date of your 'new' LIKE200i.
If it is like previous scoots the info will be on a silver tag on the frame when looking up under the right side of the main panel, above the rear tire. Kind of have to be on your back with a flashlight to view it.

I'm guessing the built date was a while back, it's a 2020 model. pictures definitely on the way

Yes, if memory serves - my "2013 model", purchased from Kymco dealer in May 2013, has a build-date sticker on it @12 months prior.
Anyway - it's a great scooter - with absolutely no mechanical revisions in its model run that I know of. Just colors.
