Title: Is this right?
Post by: Cardie on October 15, 2010, 07:23:58 PM
So my scooter at the moment has the Rev Limiter Cut. Ive got a new RamAir Air filter for a quad, (one you cut to size) and ive cut a piece left over to fit into the Airbox on the scooter. Its a 4Stroke by the way. Thing is, im worried about running too lean? Its got the stock exhaust and the Stock Jet.

Could this damage it in anyway at all? Top speed is about 62KMH on the flat downhill or not.

Cheers.

It can,you have to read your spark plug!  Take a look at this. http://www.dansmc.com/spark_plugs/spark_plugs_catalog.html (http://www.dansmc.com/spark_plugs/spark_plugs_catalog.html)

I think art is right. Read the sparkplug to see if it to lean.
Before you read the plug go for a long ride. then stop... lets it cool down and remove the plug.
