Title: Trip to the Kymco dealer and the Piaggio/Vespa dealer
Post by: Kansas kymco on January 15, 2021, 12:03:50 AM
Had to go to Wichita so on the way stopped to pick up some ordered parts from the Kymco dealer. After concluding business decided to stop by the Piaggio /Vespa dealer.  They only had about 6 Vespas  and no fly's or Liberties.  Visited for awhile and he stated their best sellers were the Flies and Liberities. but wouldn't get any more until spring.  I asked about the BV 350 and he stated they were to hard to sell. He had the last two for 2 years before they sold so they were not going to stock them and only carry the smaller machines.

I did not know Piaggio made a electric assist bicycle. They ordered 4 of them and the owner bought one, said they did not sell well. They sure looked nice but $3300.

We got around to talking about Kymco scooters and he only had positive things to say about them.  Enjoyed our visit and would patronize his establishment if I was in the market,

We even talked about my Piaggio Fly and he asked what year. I told him 2014 and his reply was , (That's good 2013 they changed them and made them easier to work on.) Sounded like prior models were difficult to service.
