Today is supposed to be unseasonably warm possible record. It's supposed to get up to 79 F 26.11 C. Five o'clock in the morning and it's in the upper 50's. Looks like I have to ride somewhere. It's still windy but not as bad as yesterday. Yesterday we had gusts to 50mph.
Just not as far as Stig's Dino's (802 miles). ;)

upper 60's (20c) here in Eastern Iowa with wind, too. Planning on taking the motorcycle out for one last long ride of the season. Bike has 11,905 miles on it and my goal for this riding season was to hit 12,000 miles. (started season at 8500 miles). I'll still keep riding for a few more weeks but this is probably the last warm day of the season.

Knew a young lady in SoCal who was such.

Stig - you crack me up!
I was able to go for a long, beautiful 122 mile ride on Thursday afternoon on my motorcycle. Temp hit 70 with wind but it was still awesome. Now we're looking at highs in the 40's lows in the 20's going forward. I'll keep riding for the next few weeks but will soon be forced to hang it up for the season..

We set a temperature record Thursday 79F (26.11C). The high today is supposed to be 49F (9.44C) so I will be parking the scooters as well before long. 50F (10C) is where I draw the arbitrary line.
