when I went outside this morning at 7 AM to grab my newspaper I noticed that it was 25 degrees (-3.8 c) out, there was frost on the grass and on all the roofs and was thinking that Stig was either still on his scoot or was already back home from his ride. I'm guessing the weather in Ohio was similar to the weather in Iowa...
I shivered and went back inside...

I’m with you Hawk. I need to go out for a late morning dental appointment, the streets will have aired by then!

I never ride my scooter to the dentist any longer.
After the first time I rode my scoot to the oral surgeon, a strange lady found me sitting on her apt. patio.......which was mine 12 yrs ago.
The doctor was in Dayton - but I no longer lived in that city!

Good drugs then Stig! ::)
It was only a routine check up and the weather was kind. Rain held off and the temp was a balmy 16c on my X-Town dash = 14c (57f) in the real world. Only slight downer was a brisk (20-25mph) wind which made itself felt. Boy I do enjoy being out on 2 wheels, here's hoping for a mild winter.

You gotta keep your core warm....and your fingers. Never have a problem with the feet. Plus - you cannot vote on it....just get up, get geared and go. About 1/2 way there you'll be glad you did and stop grumping!
Coffee shop opens at 6:45AM - and as good as his coffee is - the best part is getting there.
