Title: Another hearty soul
Post by: Kansas kymco on November 15, 2020, 03:44:29 PM
Early this morning with temperatures in the upper 20's F  I went for breakfast in the truck. While waiting at the drive-thru I seen a older grey haired man riding a scooter.  No helmet hat or gloves. He had to be a tough old buzzard or a extremely cold one. When I seen him thought of Stig and his early morning runs.

Just down at grocers picking extended family groceries - they bring 'em out and load in my Chevy F-150.
Winds are steady 34mph...with gusts to ???!. Employee rode in on one of those Internet 50's.

He had to have had a heck of a tussle!
I saw grocery baskarts quarter mile down the street. That kinda wind!

And to think when I was young I would ride my Yamaha DT2 to school on solid ice of a winter in bitter cold temperatures.   Even our Romeo group won't go on a ride if it's  below 50F.  Supposed to be 70F Wednesday for our ride to Inman KS. I'll take Orange on it's maiden voyage since I have new tires on it now.
