Shorter, older, heavyset fellow came out, took it off the center stand, released the thing thing that makes it park-lock - then almost dumped it over away from himself when he tried to get on!
No idea how it should be done - but maybe it's better to mount these scooters , then release the parking lock with your feet down? Is the center stand purpose for servicing - or parking, or both??
Still had the paper plate....NOS?
No gear of course.

And add----probably no riding skill!!----these bikes when I lived in Europe and I saw them ridden by some highly skilled riders----not the old fat guys with tennis shoes and cup holders you see here often!

Wouldn't we all luuurve a go on one though?!

Well.
No.
Seems like slinging all that front-end around would take some getting used to?

I've read that they actually ride and handle pretty well. Count me in the group who would like to take one for a spin!

Isn't there a Yamaha version, a Niken I beleive that looks like a wild ride. I would take one for a ride just as well. Really curious how it handles in tight cornors.

the Yamaha Nikken received some really good reviews for its handling and feeling of stability in the corners. I'm sure it has a much more advanced version of the 2 wheeled front end vs the MP3.
I have never seen a Nikken anywhere but the pages of motorcycle magazines or online..probably not selling too well.
