Title: Tim Horton ...well, it was horrible.
Post by: Stig / Major Tom on November 10, 2020, 09:18:23 PM
At Tim Horton drive thru....
".......OK, well then how about a pair of whole wheat ?"

"Um, no sir - actuallly we do not have any donuts."

"I'm sorry - you don't have any donuts....what do you have?"

"We have 3 fruit explosion muffins left."

My daughter punches me, "remember. Kindess. And it's nearly dinner time. No one eats donuts for supper, Dad."

"We did in Massachusetts! "
(sometimes it's like a 3rd world country in this town)

Har har, here in our small italian hamlet they would also have a good laugh at the 'Donut' question in afternoon.
People look even strange at you if you would try to order a cappucino  before lets say 1100 hrs.
Happy scootering with having only 'caffè macciato' until midday.  ;) Ruffus

Our local donut shop is closed before noon, just open for a limited time during the morning. Cassie's convenience stores have fresh pastries and good coffee as well, although nothing exotic.

There is a famous  place up by Topeka  (never been there) that sells homemade cinnamon rolls. The small is the size of a large dinner plate. The large is the size of a small table.

My daughter is having a caramel caffè macciato right now.
I prefer Dino's "Shot in the Dark" (kinda goes with all his Sinatra Rat Pack and The Sopranos posters on the walls)
The S.I.D. is made with one of Dino's strong coffee blends - to which 1, 2 or 3 freshly pressed espressos are added.

I have never been beyond a "double S.I.D."..... since I still have to ride my scooter home.
