Title: what clutch are you running?
Post by: glopezz05 on October 09, 2010, 04:08:43 AM
As I wait for the install date for my bbk to arive (next sunday) I am left wondering what part to add next.

I've already decided on the exhaust I want but I don't know which clutch to pick up.

What are you running?  Whats your experience?

Not that i have had the kind of experience with cvts you had slinger i agree malossi seems to be the best and most talked about when ped modding, polini have some pretty cool products on the market too,i was looking on another post where you lot put loads of free pdf download manuals on (zombies post "links to service manuals") and came across malossi 2010 catalouge http://issuu.com/sip-scootershop.com/docs/malossiuniverse2010 (http://issuu.com/sip-scootershop.com/docs/malossiuniverse2010) and malossi race day http://issuu.com/sip-scootershop.com/docs/9914533.10_bassa (http://issuu.com/sip-scootershop.com/docs/9914533.10_bassa) cool ;D well if you can read italian  ;D

I like the idea of the malossi but its a race clutch with lots of tuning options...

lots of chances to mess it up.

Not to mention its about twice the price of other clutches.  Need some cashe for a clutch bell too.

I have heard that the polini are good with a lot of tuning potential and easy to tune.

No doubt...

But i see this scoot as more of a stepping stone to bigger scoots.

I want more of a plug and play part seeing as how this one will eventually end up in a family members hands... Want to keep it simple for them.
