Title: this CAT is not really homeless...
Post by: Stig / Major Tom on October 10, 2020, 05:12:22 PM
I often see this cat come to the steps of this shop, scratching at the door and meowing for food.
Bear in mind that it is @6:30AM - and the shop does not open until 11 AM.
Daughter and I spoke with the shop owner yesterday - he did used to set out a bowl of food for the cat, but it was actually adopted 2 yrs ago by the ladies in the hardware store down the street.
He said, actually this cat has no pride, is faking being homeless - because it stops at 4 different places in town for meals.

That’s cats for you! They seldom go hungry.

it's got a collar, why would anyone think it's homeless

OK, well it's a "free range" cat then - wandering the whole village downtown.
People feed it , pet it, put collars on it ....perhaps because my daughter got a tick off it 2 years ago after holding it in her lap.
