Title: HELP please!!!
Post by: flying old guy on October 07, 2020, 04:06:37 PM
My Yager 200i had the oil light come on this morning while riding. Oil was changed about 2 weeks ago. I stopped at the side of the road and find the oil is up full where it belongs and clean. Any ideas please?

YES!! You must reset the oil interval odometer! You have passed your heart attack test with the oil change/ NO OIL PRESSURE light! The SAME light comes on with either condition! There are three odometers on the Yager, me thinks I remember. There is the total miles odometer that cannot be reset, a trip odometer that can be reset and the maintenance odometer that comes on when the miles interval is reached. It is the odometer that has no marking like "ODO" or "TRIP." To reset, push both MODE and ADJ at the same time and hold until the miles go to zero or three seconds, which ever produces zero!

I used that service odometer for fuel purposes and change oil when I decided. Less heartburn that way!

Incredible!!! It worked first try. Thank you so much. If you lived closer, I would buy you lunch. I'm up in Maine. Again thanks. Ernie
