Any others still getting these?
I'm most curious about how they've* managed to track me all these years.
I've lost track of how many times I've moved since I came home.
My mother recently presented me with my original birth certificate. ..
It begins,
"Report of Birth, Child born abroad of American parents".
"98th General Hospital, U.S. Army, Munich, Germany."
My father was part of the occupational forces after WWII. Mom is from KY, dad OH. He was 16, she was 14 when they met in a Dayton icecream shop where she worked after school.
(*The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs)
