ok ,here we go. at first 2 disclaimers, 1 . i live at attutide of 4350 ft ,this will take at least 1 hp away. 2 . im 5'11' and weigh 260 lbs. more hp loss. tues, i did service on bike .600 miles. wed i rode 100 miles up in mountains. thur-today i rode 210 miles. scooter club goes to lunch every thur. its 70 miles to the town they start from. onway over i cruised at 7000 rpm which was between 54-58 mph. on a nice level spot i opened him up. i saw 8000rpm and speed was steady at 65 mph. so for me that is top speed at 700 miles. i didnt try to go over 8000 rpm. anyhow thats my story. love this bike buy for long rides i will take my burgman 400 with a large wind shield , seat back rest and cruises at 75 all day long. so there,im done. hope you enjoy my story,thanks ike. ps mpg so far is between 83-86. really good on highway. see,yea

Once I had 600 miles on my Yager I wound it out to 9500 RPM and saw 76 MPH. Only did it once and doubt I'll do it again. I do cruise on I-95 at 65 MPH, 8000 RPM.

Sounds like you're right on the edge of redlining the tach. I've topped off at about 63 on the Ben Frank bridge at about 7000. Haven't had an opportunity to really open her up yet.

Isn't the Yager rev-limited, I thought WOT was not a problem with these. Haven't had mine that high yet since I'm just now getting close to 600, but it will be nice to know for the future.

..they're are always a cpl of...performance limiting features...on a scoot of any cc...
..even the x500...
