Last year the person living up here hung a red-eyed skeleton out the window above my coffee-sittiing table.
Today I found this spooky inflatable coming out the window above where I sit.

I wonder if they will even have Halloween this year? Never have very many kids in this neighborhood (mainly retired people now) unless grandchildren.

We don't do halloween anymore. Lock the gate and front room lights out...lock and load....waiting. It's the waiting that gets you...

My grandfather used to give out full size Snickers and Milkyway candy bars.
Parents were bussing their kids on vans to his door.
I used to haul my kids over and dump them out in the mayor's fancy neighborhood. It's an American tradition....
When the teenagers come knocking, I always want to ask them if they want menthol, or a Marlboro. ...but the Mrs won't let me.
