Title: Another reason to ride @5AM - safer drivers!

I cannot remember the last time a driver attacked me before sunrise.
At this hour of the day my impression is that drivers are serious about what they're doing....maybe more attentive, better focused.

Sure, less traffic at this hour - but those which I do encounter seem to be careful around me.
I mean - who're you going to be texting a half hour before sunrise - except maybe your duck hunting buddy😊

And, at this hour - the drunks are either in a smoking ditch, or passsed out in the front yard.
Just thinking.....

I had planned on taking an early morning 'Stig' ride sometime this summer but man, 5 AM comes around and I just can't do it. Now it's starting to get cooler (we've had unseasonable lows in the high 40's, low 50's lately, with rain) and I really can't do it.

Keep sending us the early morning ride reports, they are always enjoyable.
