Title: Cdi desrestriction

how the heck do I derestrict this? I haven't seen anything about a 4 wire unit. Or is this the kind I need to saw into tp cut the internal wire?

Very carefully!  For one thing, this only works on Chinese non-fuel-injected machines (or China-built Kymcos).  2-strokes and 4-strokes have different CDIs, as do AC & DC electrical systems.  So do your research (YouTube is your friend) before cutting any wires, and maybe have a spare CDI on hand in case you make a mistake.
