Late 90's early 00's? I've seen loads of them in Italy but they don't appear to have been a big seller elsewhere.

What do you want to know? I think a technically-minded friend had one so I can ask him

A 2008 FI 500cc.  Wondering about reliably ?  They have a neat 850 cc scooter but not available in the US.

Scarabeo = Ladybug....

I drove my friends 50 in Rome for a little while. Great scooter, nice ride.

for at least 3 years. It has been a good scoot. Hers is a 200. Best I can remember, I got it up to 75 on a 4 lane highway close to our home not long after she bought it. At the time I weighed 195.
There is a scooter shop in Texas you can get anything you need for the Piagio s. Cannot remember the name of it at the moment.
The parts on hers were manufactured in Europe and it was assembled in China.
Would not be afraid to buy another.
