NOT here to do the mask debate.
Because it is beginning to open again as a destination spot for Ohio visitors - my small but popular coffee village has passed a mandatory mask law for both residents and visitors a few days ago.
Signs are everywhere...

Daughter drove us there for coffee yesterday - and an impressive % of people were wearing masks. Not sure everyone knows about the new mask rule, yet. Dispensers with hand cleaner are in every shop and scattered along the sidewalks. Every shop has free masks.

As employees, wife (Dr's office) and daughter (Kohl's) are required to wear masks. A very large % of locals in our city are not.

Just got back from Lindsborg went up for scooter ride and to eat out. The employee's of the restaurant were wearing mask none of the patrons had a mask on including me. The were having some sort of Swedish festival and the town was busy. The Swedish Crown (a restaurant ) has been closed since the pandemic started and don't know when it will open.
The Mexican restaurant I went to had most of their tables closed off. When they handed you something it was on a tray you removed the item.
If anything good becomes of this at least people are washing their freakin hands. Personal hygiene wasn't very good before this.

They are highly recommended in our area and I wear them to be courteous even though I know my presence will put no one at risk.
Walmart is still a fence and cone maze and Lowe's is still the community hub, go figure. As a city employs we are not allowed to shop in Lowe's for repair items as the risk is considered too great.
