Since this is downtime due to Virus----I am thinking forward to end or at least end on travel restrictions, thinking mid July fine for me-----this time 2019 XTown 300i----carry spare drive belt, tools, tire repair kit,, pump--Dog in Givi box---in attempt to hold costs down, carry light camping stuff, but no cooking, Canada requires passport--Dog Rabies record, US insurance good. I ride up to 300 miles a day, more if boring and fast, 400 and ears hurt from foam plugs. 250 miles better for old fart.
Always in past never had gas problem---Helix,GS500E, TU 250,Burgman 400, CB750 with camping trailer, but I stop every 100 miles or first chance----always found someplace to eat/sleep....one time woke up in tent to bears.
Goal: this time nice ride thru Canada Rockies---Somebody goes with can stretch to Hyder AK---2 days from rockies, day and a half straight back to Seattle.
Now, I ride in pretty much all weather--Aerostich Darien Jacket/pants, Wolverine Waterproof Wellingtons, Aero overmitts--carry Feather jacket liner----in addition to staying dry I like to stay warm. Luggage 2 Ortleib rubber bags on passenger seat.
So my proposal: Anybody want/like to ride along? Meeting place flexible. Time for trip maybe 2 weeks. I never change money in Canada anymore---just use Visa, my cellphone usually works. I have no GPS/computer/Smart Phone.....and need none, my poor paper maps work fine. Canada in end can be a little more expensive than US. My spending Hyder AK has been limited to Hamburger and beer.
Nice ride for somebody who has never done it Reach me here or 715-894-7857.

Must of my riding since 1955----alone----two years ago Andy Goldfine and I tried James Bay Road Quebec---were turned around as pavement had become impossible (he,BMW R1100, me Honda CB300F) 20 years before I rode the while length--BMW K-75----Pavement in good shape then.

Remember what Vivo used to say, "no pix, it didn't happen."

My time is spent riding, not taking pictures. Quit doing that in the 1950's. I need to prove nothing.

Sharing scooter adventure - with photos.

Might change destination, due to border crossing----So Pike's peak? Last time up there, 35 years ago, Yamaha SR500. Any takers? No trailer bikers please. For me slow trip across Ks can be interesting.
