What air filter does this unit take? Also how much of a pain is it to remove engine cover and change filter?

Filter part number from Kymco is: 17211-LKW8-E00. Any Kymco dealer can help you.
Remove the seats, gear shift knob and pop the hold down buttons and pull the cover straight up.

I have a 500i not a 700i but that cover kinda snaps in place. The shift knob has to come off and my seats have to be removed, then the cover can come off. My seats are not adjustable and are removed with just pulling on a lever. The two big pains are the knob and getting the cover back on.

The air filter element requires no tools on mine. I need to inspect mine....
