Sounds like a lot of work for what?  Can't picture burying a 1300 lb SxS in a deep mudhole.... I dont have enough fingers and toes to list all the bad side effects of doing this.

I do hope it is to raise the intake up from the dust/dirt of the road rather than for fording. As airshot said there are definitely problems with that.

Yes TBR125 it is to get the intake breather up a little higher to keep it from possibly ingesting water into the engine if and when I do have to cross deeper water

I might consider one for my scooter. As long as my helmet snorkel is taller than the bike's:)

Honestly though, neat project. Sorry I don't know of a snorkel source.

Good luck with your search.

On my 450i I have checked and know that I can go in water to the top of the tires (25") and be good, barely!  So If water comes near the top of the tires I get out or dont go in...not worth the risk in my book.   I am the type that prefers riding rather than working on them

Did anyone ever find a snorkel kit for a 2016 700 uxv?  Im not into burying it either,  but i did come across a stream i could've easily crossed had i been snorkeled.
