Title: A ride in the mountains
Post by: Ex-KLR on May 16, 2020, 03:51:45 PM
Took my Like 150i on a 150 mile circuit yesterday. Through 4 East Tennessee counties, including the Devil's triangle.

It's a loop near Oak Ridge. TN.   116, 330 & 62.  116 is a very twisty road.  Here's a link:https://devilstriangletn.com/ (https://devilstriangletn.com/)
IMO the name is a bit overrated as there are twistier and more challenging roads in North Carolina and even Alabama.

Nice! What kind of speeds do you get up to a ride like that? Couple more rides like that and it's time for an oil change!

We averaged about 35-40 mph on the trip.  We went slow and enjoyed the back country scenery  Probably 30 mph on the Triangle (I'm still waiting for a speedometer repair).

Sounds like my kinda place. I don`t like them too twisty. Scratch your but and you run off the road.
