Met face-to-face with some internet acquaintances for a ride yesterday:

The reflex is a unique looking scoot. Beautiful in it's own peculiar way. I have seen some for sale around here, how does it performed? What would you say it is comparable to?

My late brother rode every Sat. with a gang of aging, and mostly unlicensed!, scooter buddies to their ritual breakfast at the town diner.
He had a wicked sense of humor and they were merciless with one another....even though they each rode pretty pricey scoots.
My brother referred to that Yamaha in the group as the "Morose", because it was "so depressing to look at"!
If you forget the name of it (Morphous) just google Yamaha Barcalounger.

The Morphous looks like a modernized Helix. Thanks for introducing me to a new scooter model.

I looked it up after the ride and it is actually pretty neat... 250cc fuel injected. I suspect that if Honda had brought fuel injection to the Helix or the Reflex, they might have remained popular far longer still...
