Post by: georgep on April 30, 2020, 07:56:40 AM
good morning from athens greece
i am an owner of a matt blue xciting 400s 2019 model , which i have had for 9 months and have already covered 11000kms/
i quicky changed the oem tyres aT 300 kms from maxxis to pirelli rosso and am now in the market to replacing them
my question is whether other members have put on other similar tyres and their opinions
thank you all

If they do them in your sizes George, you may want to try Michelin Powerpures which get a good write up.  I plan to try them on my X-Town 300i in the autumn (fall).

Another tyre I really rated on a lighter machine (Honda PCX125) was the Michelin City Grip or City Grip 2.  See https://www.michelin.com.my/motorbike/browse-tyres/by-vehicle/kymco/xciting-400i/xciting-400i/2019 (https://www.michelin.com.my/motorbike/browse-tyres/by-vehicle/kymco/xciting-400i/xciting-400i/2019)

Be interested to read your thoughts on the 400 as it's on my short list for the next scooter!

City Grips on my 12" LIKE rims lasted @14,000 miles -both ends - would love to find City Grip 2's for the next change..... when my kids do 'em.
