Title: When are columns for various models going to be put in line with what is availab
Post by: john grinsel on April 23, 2020, 06:14:51 PM
When are columns for various models on the market now going to be made available/adjusted?

I probably want to buy new Like 150 ABS this spring.   So far nothing appearing in this forum.   I am sure some must have been sold.  AND my XTown 300 I is now getting a year old and no  special column for it....I am sure a few have been sold----my experience at about 10,000 miles very trouble free---but has new engine with no oil filter......which might bother some people, but not me...just one thing less to buy and keep in stock.  WalMart 10-40W works fine.  I try to change at 1,000 mile intervals.

but has new engine with no oil filter..
No oil filter is not a problem.  Just change oil every 1000km.  1 litre of oil isn't expensive!

I've been doing the 1000Km oil changes on my LIKE200iLX for 8 years. I use Toyota teflon coated drain plug washers each time, $3 for a bag of 10/ eBay. SHELL Rotella  T-6 5/40.
Uses no oil between changes - I  check before every ride.
