Title: K-Pipe 50 blinker fix

So i had a fall on my k-pipe recently, and now the back-left blinker doesn't work. Obviously the cable's loose somewhere but where? What is the best way to find where it's loose?

Was the blinker itself impacted? The physical light bulb filament can be broken fairly easily.

However, assuming that the unit is not broken, the first plug to check would be where the flasher unit joins the wiring harness about 10-14 inches down the wire from the blinker. Make sure the bullet connector plugs are securely pressed together. To test the unit you could swap the blinker with the Front left blinker and if it doesn't work when up front the flasher is broken.

Sorry if the terminology is confusing. I just realized I used flasher, blinker, and turn signal referring to the same part.

other than making sure the bulb is good and the connections are tight and not broken..not much more to offer...other than reading this post made me laugh thinking that the rest of the world calls it a winker and not a blinker. Winker...makes me laugh.

I always called it a turn signal but was told that was too formal.
