Title: 5-wire ignition switch pinout
Post by: Fredward72 on March 08, 2020, 06:57:08 PM
Hi !
I just bought a 2016 50cc Agility City which has a replacement ignition switch and works fine but I really want to try to get the original
ignition switch to work which I also recieved with the bike.

I have seen many pictures and description of the 4-pin ignition switch but none of the 5-pin
There have been questions here before regarding the pinout of 5-wire ignition switch but I have not seen any pictures attached.

In this old original 5-pin lock someone already tried some soldering and the coloring of wires now attached to the switch does not match the original
which can be seen on the connector.
Does anyone have a picture of how to connect the wires to the switch?

Just realized that I actually just could measure and see if result could match any known configurations ...

And it wasn't that hard ....

Although 5 pins they still match the 4 pin layout since two wires duplicate ...

So I guess this is just how I will do it !

Looks like you got it! Hope your soldering skills are better than what is on that switch!
