My hat's off to you, Stig. Here in RI it was in the mid-fifties, and I got to take the Guzzi out for a couple of hours on all back roads It's been a very mild winter here, so not much sand on the roads; all good.  Wimpy; I don't like to ride if the temp falls below 40. 
Hoping for early spring!

48, dry and sunny in my bit of the UK this morning = snatched ride out.  As you so pithily put it Stig, damn good to be out again  ;D
