Title: tires Michelin City Grip

for years there has been no City Grip front in proper size, for example my 2019 XTown  300i ABS.  Right now I have City Grip on rear and it performs fine-----But now City Grip 2, has front in proper 14 inch size, along with proper size rear, so matched pair can be installed!

But when I replace tires at about 15,000 miles, I plan to buy matched pair of Michelin Power Pure SC.....reason they wear round and last long time with no handling problems.....based on my experience with them on Burgman 400 and 2 SilverWing 600's....over 10,000 miles on rear....in a pinch returning from long trip to AK.

John, I had the Power Pure SC front and rear on the DT300i and the rear was gone in 6000 miles. Handling was excellent, but not as delightful as the Metzlers that were on the stolen bike. The puzzling thing about the PP SC is that it was supposed to be dual compound with harder stuff in the middle of the tread. Or does SC stand for Single Compound?

Curious about these "City Grip 2" tires. I'm not seeing any difference in the tread pattern from the regular  City Grips.

Looks like a modified tread pattern that apparently is appealing to women.

Also seems to feature the word "Safety" a lot & claims grip in all weather.
I wonder if they'll wear as well as my CG 1's (which were already great in rain and such)

City Grip 2 may meet the EU requirement for winter tires-----If I still lived in Germany, I would run them all year, as I ride all year.

Yeah, more of those thin sipes - and now being held open by round perforations. Should be better in the wet....and maybe ice/snow?!
