Title: Maybe less riding for a while
Post by: Neil955i on February 09, 2020, 02:38:57 PM
Say hello to Mika, the latest addition to the family. 18 month-old still pup who will need some time and training.

Animals in the house are good for people!
And they'll keep you from sleeping too long😊
Nice looking 'puppy'-!

Congratulations on Mika! I just got two Collie pups last year. Sawyer is now 13 months old and Sasha is 6 months old.  I'm just now getting to the point where I will leave them for a few hours by themselves.  They entertain each other while I'm gone. When it warms up in a few more weeks I will start going on the ROMEO rides on Wednesday again.

Lucky you.  Still can't find a ROMEO Ride group over here.

Now ya dun it.
You're gonna need a side car, and some dog goggles.

How are you and the new pup Mika getting along?

Well, she’s been here a week now and has settled in pretty well. Her training has started as she’s a bit reluctant to come to call when off lead over the fields. Have also begun leaving them, up to 90 minutes so far and working well. Next steps will be getting the pair of them overnighting in the kitchen....

Had a mate who did that! Rather defeats the object of riding a bike imho.

I dunno, not quite the same, but considering the alternative...
