nice did you paint the tires your self.
Title: Re: kym so far
Post by: ts1 on September 20, 2010, 06:49:51 AM
That's just adhesive tape on the rim, not painting the tire (which may disadvantageous for the rubber).

Cheers rianna,as sid said blue its rim tape looks normal bright red in day hit it with a bit of light and it pops very cool and safe too but an absolute ar5e to put on,and if your thinking about doing it you will need lots of patience and a good degreaser for your rims before applying you have been warned :)

your mirrors have been stolen to ?

or I am the only lucky one ? 2 weeks ago my kick starter was stolen to ... now if my scoot doesnt start at first button push (and usualy dont) I am screwed... I push that button until I have no battery...

Sorry to say, but you are not alone.

Someone stole my battery and battery cover - leaving me stranded.

Sorry to hear about your problems.

Sending bad karma to those who do such things....

and I just heard from someone else I know - had the wipers stolen from her car yesterday.  Not just the blades, but the arms and all.

What kind of world is this becoming?

..my neighbor's metal bench glider was stolen from his front porch a few weeks ago...

..suspiciously, a day after he sold an old junker truck for scrap..(they came and picked it up)..

..hmmm........

Title: Re: kym so far
Post by: wordslinger on October 01, 2010, 11:57:09 PM
..and that's what i told him...

..he's like 77 yrs old..and said..."awww..my son knows those guys...they wouldn't do that"....
Title: Re: kym so far
Post by: Rianna on October 02, 2010, 12:13:41 AM
But, it's always someone you know and that you think wouldn't do it!
Title: Re: kym so far
Post by: oswaldters on October 02, 2010, 12:43:19 AM
I'm still blown away that someone would steal the kick start...and the mirrors!

Totally random - and I worry about stuff like that because I know whoever stole my battery and cover will be back next time they need another part.

Maybe time to lock a pitbull up next to my scoot.

Maybe time to lock a pitbull up next to my scoot.

If you could train him to drive the scoot, he could run 'em over and pin 'em down 'til you get done at work.  :D

he could run 'em over and pin 'em down

What sucks is that there is nothing you can really do to stop this.  Not a problem around town, but if you park same spot for work each day....

Nice!

Wish I would have caught up the individual who stole the battery from my scoot.

Thank you for noticing!

But I have to admit to being very angry at the time.  Got over it, but did have some brief fantasies about going Charles Bronson on whoever it was.

Shame I can't take it with me on the subway so I can keep it safe at work.

I never worry about something happening outside my house - it's that blasted subway station where I park it every day.  Magnets for thieves these subway stations are.

I ride because I like to, a bit of rain won't stop me from riding to work. Hmm, the car is looking like a dust ball, sitting under the carport, perhaps I should wash it.

Post by: omfgdotcodotuk on October 05, 2010, 08:27:25 PM
omfg!! $250 a month my gosh thats daylight robbery dude :(,dont blame you using a ped, here in england if your banned your f**ked you cant drive nothing at all (stupid uk laws suck) and we have to tax (£15) mot (£30) insure (£80) per year on 50cc peds, insurance is a licence to print money over here, example was talking to a guy i know he owns a 1.2 seat ibiza granted hes 21 yo,£65 per week yeah per week wtf this realy p1sses me off,he never crashed or dui nothin, purely because of age,he previously owned a aprilia sr50 (£35 insurance per week).WTF GRRRRRRRRRRRR >:(

I've been toying with the pressure on the new Viper's.

the recommended 25 in front and 29 in back feels a little mushy to me.
